Unit Standards

A few test shots of my unit standards for my skeleton with hand weapons and with spears and my zombies while I work out this camera thing and a shot of my captive audiance :-)

Better photos

Sad sad day when your phone takes better pictures of your mini's than your camera :-(.

Undead in the House

Here is my undead army only need 2 x carrion and a skull chucker, I have a skull chucker but when I brought it from the US of A it was a sealed blister pack and was missing the front part the yoke I think it is called :-( but I painted it up anyway in the hope I would find that piece later. Anyway once these pieces are found the army will be 3000pts and I will be a happy camper.  I love Warhammer Fantasy Battle 3rd Edition and would love a game any takers? If you have modern Warhammer we do a counts as thing just to play would be great. As I get better at photography with this tablet I will take better photo's of each unit and its make up and points value.

Oldhammer books

Some really old books that need to be re-read and book reports done for, seeing as how some of the guys in other blogs are doing this it would be great to do the same, man I love these old books and can remember reading them very quickly as a young snotling and enjoying every minute.

What I have painting

Well not exactly oldhammer but some pics of what has been on the painting desk.

Sons of Russ

Now that I have picked up this blog again I thought it a good thing to mention the (what I consider) bargain I scored last week on ebay. 27 Warhammer 40k metal Space Wolves from 2nd edition. My mates all play 8th edition so I finally relented and am collecting a space wolf army for it but doesn't mean I cannot use the classic old lead to flesh my army out. When I got the figures though I was a bit disappointed as they need to be stripped of old paint so using this advice (from someone in the know who's blog is awesome and a consistent source of insparation, Orlygg Jafnakol) his blog has heaps of great info and pictures I am going to give it a go.
Have a read it is very good advice for a collector or gamer who faces this very daunting task.

I'm back!

Man this blog has been neglected something cronic :( but no more fair oldhammer fans, have a little spot were I can paint at home now. On the table at the moment are some classic Imperial Guard from the Rogue Trader days of long ago. Been painting a lot of modern Space Wolves as well need to really sit down and photograph everything, hope to blog more often as well as I am quitting smoking and have all this extra money laying around :)
